When we made the decision to spin out our sustainability practice from Riveron, I took a step back to consider where we’d been and who we wanted to be next. We sat down with a few interested groups, and while most conversations focused on the mechanics of a merger — headcount, client lists, and org charts — the conversations with Jonathan and Janna felt different from the start. We didn't begin by discussing roles; we began by talking about the clients we serve and how we could solve their problems better, together.

That approach clicked because of the 'parallax’ philosophy. Jonathan, Janna, and team built a firm around the idea that bringing different perspectives to a problem results in a better solution. Strategists, writers, designers, and technical experts shouldn't operate in silos. Integrating that expertise delivers real value.

Integrating our team into thinkPARALLAX means we can now meet a client wherever they are on their sustainability journey. We’re moving beyond just compliance to help clients set strategy, build the data collection and associated controls, and tell a story that drives impact with investors and customers. With our team’s technical expertise and thinkPARALLAX’s design and creative capabilities, we believe that we can help a client build a complete sustainability program from strong foundation to best in class communications. We want to be a full-service advisory partner to our clients, and this combination gives us that capability.

Joining Jonathan, Janna, and the rest of the team feels less like a merger and more like a natural evolution of the work we’ve always wanted to do. I’m incredibly excited to be here, to bring this broader range of capabilities to clients, and be part of what’s next.
